Product Description

Rosa rubrifolia

Redleaf rose

 

Deciduous shrub with a moderate growth rate.  Wide form with arching branches and single pink flowers.  Leaf color is more purple in full sun.

 

Zones:  2 - 8     Native to: Mountains of Europe     Size: 10-12' tall

Culture:  Prefers full sun but will tolerate partial shade. Likes any well-drained soil that is not highly acidic. Fertilize with manure or other highly organic material. Prune right after flowering to remove old canes and dead wood.
